now I wanna add Dirty Work to Project Songfic

So I haven’t started writing them, but I wrote up synopses for them all. How do they sound?

Daydreams: Dean tries to start a new life, but he’ll always be a hunter, and he’ll always have a piece missing.

Best for Last: Sam doesn’t want to trust Ruby, but she’s all he has; Dean doesn’t trust Ruby and never will; Ruby hates Dean for standing between her and Sam.

Chasing Pavements: Dean lost somebody important when he lost Jo - a little sister at the least - and he struggles with finding a way to bring her back as well as thoughts of the family they could have been.

Cold Shoulder: Dean and Sam argue about Sam’s newfound abilities, but Dean has more of a problem with Ruby than the psychic powers - a problem tinged with green.

Crazy for You: Dean struggles to return to the hunter he was with thoughts of Lisa constantly on his mind.

Melt My Heart to Stone: Ruby and Sam can’t help but forgive each other, even if it’s the last thing they want.

First Love: Sam still has dreams of Jessica.

Right as Rain: Jo doesn’t want to be perfectly happy - can’t stand the thought - so she continues to refuse Dean, amplifying situations and using them to her advantage.

Make You Feel My Love: Countless people attempt to comfort Sam and Dean - Lisa, Jo, Ellen, Bobby, Ruby, Castiel, even Lucifer - but in the end, the brothers can only really count on each other.

My Same: Sam and Ruby are vastly different, but with Dean gone, they somehow fall into step.

Tired: Cas and Ruby do all they can for Dean and Sam - but they’re tired.

Hometown Glory: Sam’s and Dean’s real home, real family, is other hunters, and they stand together to take on the apocalypse.

Rolling in the Deep: Ruby only ever wanted the best for Sam, but when Dean came back, it was with a vengeance that tore them apart and cast her in a terrible light.

Rumour Has It: Sam chooses Dean over Ruby, so Ruby chooses Lilith over Sam.

Turning Tables: Dean and Sam are vessels for angelic warring brothers, and though they’re fighting for the same end, they can’t help but war over the means.

Don’t You Remember: Lisa feels like Dean doesn’t remember; Dean decides Lisa and Ben can’t remember.

Set Fire to the Rain: Ruby pulled Sam together after he lost Dean and because she was all he had left, he had done anything he could to keep her; when her scam was revealed he’d wanted vengeance, but now he’s plagued by dreams and memories.

He Won’t Go: Dean would give anything for Sam; Sam would give anything for Dean; with angels on their asses and a good woman standing behind each of them, they know they’ve got this war won.

Take It All: Lisa gives up trying to hold onto Dean and attempts to move on with her life, pulling pieces together.

I’ll Be Waiting: Lisa had waited for Dean; Sarah had waited for Sam.

One and Only: Lisa dares Dean to settle.

Lovesong: Cas knows the Winchesters are his real home - more of a family than his angel brothers ever were, or ever could be.

Someone Like You: Dean is torn apart by Lisa and all he’s done to her and Ben - even if they can’t remember it.

*Technically, I wrote one, but it doesn’t count because it’s not canon-based. A little more challenge thrown into the pot.

**They don’t count until the Adele ones are done so.

I am going to write at least one Supernatural songfic to every Adele song this summer.

I’ll probably do the same with Taylor Swift songs (at least Speak Now).
